YouTube doesn’t like copyright infringement

At least when it’s about their rights

YouTube hosts thousands of copyrighted videos, it’s part of the problem with UGC based services : they can’t (and maybe don’t want) to chase every copyright infringement.
So they simply host the files, and from time to time when some music label, movie studio or TV group sends threatens to go to court, they delete them (knowing Google, probably don’t delete, just hide)

And guess what, YouTube recently called the guys from TinyTube to ask them to stop showing YouTube content.

TinyTube is a simple service that displaying videos on mobile phones.

Considering that YouTube content is not really their content, I’m curious to see what a court would decide here.

But when you’re a small company, you don’t fight with Google, so no more YouTube videos for your mobile !
