Jacques Attali (former François Mitterrand personal adviser, novelist, former President of the EBRD, well-know figure of the french intelligentsia) writes a weekly column in the french news magazine l’Express.
This one is very interesting.
the INA, a french public organisation collecting archives of television recently launched a website where you can have access to thousand of programs from the last 50 years.
Jacques Attali compares this site with YouTube, stating that it’s a symbol of how the French & th American have a different view on the society :
While the French believe in a society where the governement gives information to the people, the American believe in a society made by the people himself.
He’s right, once again.
