Prince & The Revolution : Adonis And Bathsheba

Prince & The Revolution : Adonis And Bathsheba

Adonis And Bathsheba is an unreleased track recorded on 27 July, 1986 at Prince‘s Galpin Blvd Home Studio (the day after The Ball, three days before the release of a 12” single of Anotherloverholenyohead). Prince had just completed the final version of the Dream Factory album, and it is unknown if this song was intended for any project at the time, but during Prince: A Celebration in June, 2000, computer screens at Paisley Park Studios offered names of a selection of tracks which users could vote on for inclusion on Crystal Ball Volume II, and while Adonis And Bathsheba was chosen by fans, the project was ultimately abandoned.
